ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — JULY 22, 2024 18 <br />Councilmember Holden reported she supported alcohol operations until 2AM with all people <br />clearing the building by 3AM. <br />Councilmember Fabel did not believe a lot of good things happened between 2AM and 3AM. <br />He suggested the business be allowed to remain open until 2:30AM. <br />Councilmember Monson indicated she would like to allow the business to remain open until <br />3AM, but in the spirit of compromise, she could support 2:30AM. <br />Mayor Grant indicated he could support 2:30AM. <br />Councilmember Rousseau stated she could also support 2:30AM. She withdrew her amendment <br />motion. <br />Mayor Grant withdrew his second. <br />AMENDMENT: Councilmember Rousseau moved and Mavor Grant seconded a motion <br />to amend Condition 21 to allow the business to remain open until <br />2:30AM. <br />The amendment carried (5-0). <br />Councilmember Holden requested Condition 20 be removed or that it be amended to allow for <br />dogwood shrubs for screening purposes. <br />City Attorney Bjerkness suggested Condition 20 read: Screening for ground mounted equipment <br />shall meet requirements of zoning code and may include dogwood shrubs. <br />AMENDMENT: Councilmember Holden moved and Mayor Grant seconded a motion <br />to amend Condition 20 to read: Screening for ground mounted <br />equipment shall meet requirements of zoning code and may include <br />dogwood shrubs. <br />The amendment carried (5-0). <br />The amended motion carried (5-0). <br />11.
