Other Funds Relying on Tax Levy Dollars <br />EDA Fund –Proposed tax levy to remain the same at $100,000. <br />Public Safety Capital Fund –Proposed tax levy set to $260,000. This includes a base levy of <br />$220,000 and $40,000 for City share of Fire Captains. There was a one-time levy transfer of <br />$220,000 to the Equipment/Building Replacement Fund in 2024. <br />Equipment/Building Replacement Fund –A replacement schedule was developed for all <br />City equipment. Based on the results, a tax levy increase of $110,000 is needed. Proposed <br />tax levy set to $210,000. <br />PIR Fund –The new Local Government Aid (LGA) is directed to this fund. More revenues <br />will eventually be required to support City infrastructure projects. Proposed tax levy to <br />remain the same at $250,000. <br />16
