<br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br />Monday January 13, 1958 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:05 P." by Mayor Ashbach. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Present; Ashbach, Winfrey, Langer, Stromquist <br />Absent; DeLange. <br /> <br />Mayor Ashbach reported that John Kenna would like some action on the <br />proj"osed purchase of his property as soon as possible. A committee <br />is to be appointed to give information at next meeting in regard to <br />the proposed purchase. Mayor Ashbach to contact all persons offering <br />to donate land to the village and to request them to be at the next <br />meeting also. <br /> <br />Mayor Ashbach reported that 1958 committee and other appointments <br />will be made at the January 27th meeting. <br /> <br />After Council discussion Langer moved, Winfrey seconded the motion <br />that the Bannister Engineering Co. be requested to do a sewer survey <br />for the S.W. corner of the village consisting of the area South of <br />County Road E to County Road D. Motion passed. <br /> <br />PUBLIC SAFETY: Mr. Winfrey reported that the police department is <br />shorthanded this month with only two policemen on the force at the <br />present time. Council extended the appointment of Jerome Wasielewski <br />end Jack Wo:Lf as policemen' until the January 27th meeting. <br /> <br />CLERK REPORT: Stromquist presented copies of the ordinance allowing <br />Grotto Conditional Use Permit as drawn up by attorney. Upon motion <br />by L~nger, seconded by Winfrey, Clerk to send one copy to the Grotto <br />Club i{i th e letter inforning them of action t,"Cken. Hotion passed. <br /> <br />A letter from Lee <br />Johanna Narrows. <br />at next meeting. <br /> <br />KulevaJ:' requesting snow plowing of the road in <br />Bob Ashbach to check into the matter and report <br /> <br />Mr. KrAnnak presented a revised Shorewood Hills 7 plat.
