ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION — AUGUST 12, 2024 16 <br />Councilmember Holden said there is money in the budget so that is not a long range. <br />Public Works Director and City Engineer Swearingen will gather information on the scope for <br />the parks master plan to get a cost range for what the City is looking for and bring that discussion <br />back to Council. Through that discussion he hoped to have a contract signed in November. Then <br />we can get it going right away in 2025. <br />Councilmember Holden asked what PMP projects are for next year. <br />Public Works Director and City Engineer Swearingen said next year is the park <br />improvements. He will be designing the 2026 PMP, which is the Karth Lake Neighborhood. It's <br />heavy on design for streets and construction for parks right now. <br />Councilmember Monson asked about sound walls. Did he need direction from Council? <br />Public Works Director and City Engineer Swearingen said he will just assume we will apply <br />for it every year. <br />Councilmember Rousseau wondered how other Council members wanted to deal with those <br />single issues. <br />Discussion ensued regarding items that can be removed, combined or need further discussion. <br />4.
