<br />ImlUTE3 0]' REGULAR NEETING <br />COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF' ARDEN HILLS <br />FRIDAY, JANUARY 2, 1959 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:05 p.m, by Trustee Crepeau. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Present; Crepeau, Stromquist, Kennedy <br />Absent; AiMJach, Uinfrey <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The follrn,ing village officers were sworn into office by Attorney Courtney: <br /> <br />Ricard Jones, Justice of the Peace <br />DouGald Kennedy, TrQstee <br />Lorraine StromQuist, Clerk <br /> <br />Mrs. Stromquist recommended that tile application for On-Salc Liquor by Don Stecker be <br />approved and that the application of the Grotto Club by Rouella Cloutier be re-submitted, <br />license to be issued to an officer of the Grotto Club rather than the manager. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Crepeau, seconded by Stromquist, an On-Sale liquor license for the calendar <br />year 1959 was granted to Donald Stecker for the \;agon ilheel Inn. Carrie., <br /> <br />Upon motion by Stromquist, seconded by Crepeau, clerk to reque5t Grotto Club, lnc, to re- <br />submit their license requests naming an otlficer of the Club responsible, new application <br />to be submitted by January 12, 1959, Carried, <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney reported that Nounds View officials are now ready to submit title to <br />Village Hall for our acceptance, final papers to be ready by January 26 meeting. The con- <br />tract calls for payment of $5,000,00 on delivery of title with balance to be paid six <br />months later.
