KAISER: On .what basis would that petition be - by street
or area?
MR. POPOVICH: I personally prefer it this way and
this 1& what we have told them in Roseville - fUe informal
petitions with the Council but let the Council adopt the
necessary legal petition with the proper description so it blends
properly into what the existing improvements are and what we would
feel would be necessary from a financing point of view. If you
want to formally petition you have to follow a form in whieh you
describe the area and the people and you have tn have 35% of the
people in the area. In Roseville we had cne formal petition which 1
prepared. We described the area by metes and bounds because I wanted
to be sure it fit into the existing sanitary sewer No.2. Otherwise
you get a checkerboard arrangement. So if you're in a hurry, do it
by a method of informal petition. Say, we the fcllewing people,
bounded by whatever it is, hereby petition for service, and have them
all sign it and it really wouldn't be a formal petition but it
let's the Council know what you want to do.
MR. L. J. SNEENEY, 3465 Siems Court: This is an 8 inch sewer
proposed and the question is, are you going to increase it from 8 to
12 to take care of this acute 80 acre area in Arder.Hi11s?
. ~:AVOR ASHBACH: The sewer in Roseville is going to be enlarged
to take care of the entire shaded area of Arden Hills.
~R. WILLARD NEAMY, 3171 N0rth Lexington; In the southeast
portion of.^rden Hills, I wanted to know has the Council any
plans fer the future to run a trunk line along Lexington Avenue?
MINOR ASHBACH: KThose things have not yet been developed in
