<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Roger Short of Banister Engineel'ing Company reported, on a eewer meeting <br />he attended at Andrews home for giving additional information to <br />residents of Arden Hills on proposed sewer. A special council meeting <br />to study the sewer problem was tentatively set for August 14, 1959. <br /> <br />Attorney's Report: Attorney Courtney reported that he has checked the <br />on and off sale liquor applications and bonds submitted by Schreyer, Inc, <br />and finds them satisfactory. <br /> <br />A legal description of some land that Jack Grudnoske would like rezoned <br />was referred to Attorney Courtney. -< <br /> <br />Mayor's Roport: A new rate schedule for electric power as submitted by <br />No. States Power Company was filed with Clerk's records. <br /> <br />Public Safety: Motion made by Crepeau, seoonded by Delange that the <br />proposed curfew ordinance be given a second reading. ,Motion passed. <br /> <br />Public Works: Delange reported that the Minn. Hy. Dept is making a survey <br />of speed limits on Snelling Avenue in vicinity of Cummings Lane and <br />Arden Hills #1 and 1/2. <br /> <br />Public Welfare: Kennedy moved, Stromquist seconded the motion to suspend <br />the rules and give a second and final reading to an ordinance regulating <br />the storage, collection and ~ disposal of garbage and other refUse. <br />Aye; Crepaeu, Kennedy, Delange, Stromquist. No; Ashbach. Carried. <br /> <br />Clerk's Report: Motion by Stromquist, seconded by Kennedy that an <br />Ordinance amending Ordinance #16, known as the Building Code by repealing <br />Section 8-10 thereof and provdiing new requirements with reference to <br />lia~ility insurance to be carried by certain licensees of the village be <br />given a final reading and adopted. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Motion by Stromquist, seconde4 by crepeau that an ordinance repealing <br />Ordinance #4, establishing and official depository for the Village of <br />Arden Hills, and removing the depository limitations be given a final <br />reading and adopted. Motion passed. <br /> <br />A request by Rose Waldock to set at time limit on the Schryer liquor <br />license request was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Crepeau, seconded by Kennedy Claims 1833 thru 1868 <br />were approved for payment.
