Attachment A <br />Arden Hills Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee (PTRC) 2024 Guide <br />Mission/Purpose: Parks, Trails, and Recreation and natural resources in Arden Hills increase <br />the desirability of the city as a place to live or work, enhance the health and well-being of <br />citizens and guests, and improve the value of citizens' property. The Parks, Trails, and <br />Recreation Committee (PTRC) represents the interests of Arden Hills citizens in leading the <br />continuing development, expansion, and improvement of those resources. The PTRC <br />recommends to the City Council actions that support those interests; monitors the use of and <br />the improvement of parks, trails, and recreation; and collaborates with other City committees in <br />improving parks and trails. The PTRC can have a total of committee members and _ youth members. We <br />currently have _ committee members and _ youth members. <br />2. Matthew Johnson, Recreation Supervisor,(miohnson(cDcityofardenhills.org) is the PTRC <br />3. Emily Rousseau(ERousseau(cDcityofardenhills.org) is the PTRC City Council Liaison. <br />4. The PTRC uses Robert's Rules of Order (See Attachment A) <br />5. The PTRC uses a Quorum system. If less than 6 members are present at a meeting, <br />discussions can still happen, but there can be no vote. <br />
