.

.

37

.

~R. E. J. CAMP, 3470 Siems Court: I want to register myself

in favor of the proposal and I have one 4uestion to ask. ,~'e have
one of those odd shaped lots that measures 120 feet in the front
and 57 in the back. Do you have some general idea of what kind
of an adjustment they make. Do you go on the area on that or what 7

.

~~. SHORT: I'll try to answer it. It's hard to project ahead
as to what an assessment roll might consist of that might be prepared
six months or a year from now. The lots in your area are of fairly
standard size, are they, with the exception of yours, or are they
all -
MR. CAMP: Siems Court cuts in at an angle and gives us 120
feet along the road.
MR. SHORT: Frequently, in sewer assessing the width of the
lot at the set back point or at the front of the house may be
utilized as frontage rather than the frontage at the street. You
get a narrow pie shaped lot and may have practically no frontage.
By using either the circular or the split width of the lot -
that's one way of arriving at it. It also, of course, applies
with a lot that's narrow in back - or you may averdse the lot.
H you're in with a group of lots that are all lOCi foot lots and
youre the only irregular one, it would be reasonable to assume
that your assessment should be approximately the same so it's a
measure of the benefit where the assessment is e4uitable with other
properties receiving similar benefit. It can't be answered
specifically without studying them out.
DR. BRADLEY W. KUSSKE, 1179 Tiller Lane: I would like to
register my vete as being lO~~ in favor of the sewer project.
MAYOR ASHBACH: Are you the gentleman that called me the

.
