Trustees Nethercut. Crepeau. <br />and Olmen. Glerk L,rraine Stromquist <br />Absent ~ None <br />Also ~resent - Atty. Jos. Salland for Village Attyo <br />Vincent P. Chairman of the Commi tee. submitted the questionnaires <br />as filled out by the Village residents and the tabulation of same <br />as compiled by the Committee. He stated that fifteen meetings had <br />been held and estiLated that about 1.000 work hours had been con- <br />tributed by members of the COL~ittee. Mr. Lang thanked the members <br />of his Committee And informed the Council that he enjoyed working <br />with the eir~t memberso <br /> <br />Ml'S. Betty Klaas, Secretary. read the final report which stated that <br />it was the unanimous opinion of the COllllllittee that there is no <br />i~~ediate need for a munioipal water system in the Village. and when <br />a municipal system does become necessary, the Committee recommends <br />that ground weter drawn from deep we Is be used and not surface <br />water purchased from snother municipality. The (;ommittee also recOlllIll- <br />ended that the Village ~ouncil again consider the question of possible <br />need of a muniCipal water system in five years, unless e major crwnge <br />in growth pattern is evidenced earlier. COwplete report on fileo <br /> <br />There were no questions concerning the report from the Councilor <br />the floor. <br /> <br />Mayor ~ennedy. in behalf of the Gouncil, thanked James Lang and the <br />Committee members. <br /> <br />Mr. Jam"s Johnson, COLJI1littee member. stated that it was a pleasure <br />working on the COllll<littee under the chairmanship of j'lr. Ll1ngo <br /> <br />WiegeleoPfeilsticker Matter <br />Mr. P. Pfeilsticker. 1431 Arden Place, inqUired if the Council intended <br />to make a decision on this matter at this meetingo <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist stated that a letter hed been received <br />from Mr. Anthony SchlJlidt, 1855 Alta Vista Drive, Mr. 'I~iegele' a attorney, <br />which requested postpohemeDt of a decision until Mr. Schnddt's health <br />would permit him to appear in behalf of Mr. ',1iegele to aI_ply for a <br />variance of the Building Code. Mayor Kennedy stated that this deciaion <br />had already been made by the Board of Appealso Trustee Nethercut <br />stated he could see no reason for a postponement on the part of the <br />Gouncilp since the Gouncil had attended the meeting of the Doard of <br />Appeals. <br /> <br />TrUstee Crepeau moved to accept the recommendation of the Boa!'d of <br />Appeals to deny the variance re('uest of i.lr. iiiepele to permit the <br />construdtion of a dou:Jle garage close to the Pfeilsticker property <br />line; Mr. Wiegele is to comply with this decision by May 12, 1964; <br />seconded by Trustee Nethercut; motion carriedo <br /> <br />Clerk requested to inform l\ir. .ilegele and Atty.
