Chairman, in roduced member8 of the CO!illl11ttee who wel'e <br />present and stated that ten meetin[s have been held. He informed <br />the Council that 947 questionnaires had been mailed to Villare <br />residents and 584 of them have been returned; thet'efore, this re- <br />port is not final. A final report will be submitted after the <br />tabulation of the questionnaires and will include the possible time <br />when a water system will be needed by the Village. <br /> <br />Betty Klaae, Secretary of the COllll'4ittee, read the report w{}ich is <br />on file at tile VU.lare Halla This report included the unanllmous <br />opinion that an Arden Hills central water system should be from <br />deep wells and not surface water purchased front another municipalitYe <br />and continued to give their reasons. <br /> <br />The Council felt that the report adequately covered their reasons <br />and thEire wet'e no questions from the COl1ncil or the floor. Mayor <br />Kennedy stated that Roseville may enlarge their mains hoping to <br />serve other are!, s without cost to Al'den Hills. Mayor Ke nnedy re- <br />quested Mr. Lang to submit available data on \;his matter be placed <br />on file for future reference. Mr. Lang informed the CouDcil that <br />reports f~om other municipalities have been returned to them, but <br />felt they could be obtained again when needed. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy expressed a~preC1ation to 1~. Lang and his Committee <br />for the fine study and report. <br /> <br />Villar.e Hall Improvement heport <br />Robt. ~fcNiesh and Robt. Kerr were pl'essnt and reported that the <br />hf'ating plans were finished and the architectural Plans will be <br />complete and available to intel'ested birldet's by Thursday.
