P_-I. <br /> Sale of Temporary Improvement Bonds Resolution <br /> Resolution read by Mayor Nethercut: the amount of the sale would In- <br /> clude Water Imrpovements 67-1 and 67-2, Sanitary Sewer Improvements <br /> 7 and 8, and Street Improvements 6 and 7. <br /> Councilman Crepeau moved the adoption of a Resolution providing for <br /> public sale of-temporary Improvement bonds, Series I, as per attached, <br /> date of the sale wi I I be 4 January 1968 at 8:00 p.m. ; seconded by <br /> Counc II man Bjorndahl; motion carried. <br /> BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> Request for Christmas Tree Sales <br /> Counci Iman Crepeau moved approval of the request of Gerald McCauley, <br /> 1925 Jerrold Avenue, to store and se I I Christmas trees from his <br /> property through December 1967; seconded by Councilman Olmen; motion <br /> car"rled. <br /> -. Counci Iman Crepeau Informed the Counc II that this reque~t was also <br /> granted last year and there were no repurcusslons. <br /> REPORT OF ATTORNEY COURTNEY <br /> Water Meter Bids <br /> Atty. Courtney returned the four bids for water meters to Clerk <br /> Lorraine Stromquist with a letter, dated 27 November 1967, which <br /> explained the bids. He Informed the Council that he had rev I ewed <br /> the bldswlth Engrs. Short and Liebenow from Banister Engineering Co. <br /> Representatives from Power Process Equipment, Inc. and Badger Meter <br /> Mfg. Co. were present and commented on the bid forms. <br /> Atty. Courtney stated that he recommends the acceptance of the Badger <br /> Meter Mfg. Co. 's bid as it showed exactly what the village would be <br /> paying. <br /> Councilman Olmen moved the awarding of the water meter contract to <br /> Badger Meter Manufacturing Co., Mi Iwaukee, Wi s.; seconded by Council- <br /> man Bjorndahl; motion carried.
