~ NOTICE OF SALE $" no._ TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENT BONDS SERIES 1 VILlAGE OF ARDEN' HILLS RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Villl1ge Council of the village of Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota, will meet in . the Village Hall in said village on ~~~~ . the .~ day of ~I,.y , 196!- at 8:00 0'c10ck p. m. for the purpose of receiving and considering sealed bids for the purchase of $710,'" general obligation Temporary Improvement Bonds, Series 1, of the village, said bonds to be dated January 1, 1968, to bear interest at the rate designated by the successful bidder, payable July 1, 1968 and semiannually thereafter on January 1 and July 1 in each year, all of said bonds to mature on January 1, 1971. All bonds of this issue are subject to prior payment in inverse order of serial numbers on July 1, 1969, at par and accrued interest. Both principal and interest will be payable at any suitable bank or trust company in the United States designated by the successful bidder within 48 hours after award. The village will furnish, without cost to the purchaser, the mimeographed or printed and executed bonds in denominations of $1,000 each, or, at the purchaser' s request wi thin 48 hours after award, in any larger denomination, and the unqualified approving legal opinion of Messrs. Dorsey, Marquart, Windhorst, West and Halladay of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Messrs. Peterson & Popovich of St. Paul, Minnesota, together with the customary no litigation certificate. Delivery will be made anywhere in the United States within 30 days after acceptance of the bid, without cost to the purchaser. Sealed bids marked "Bid for $110.000 Temporary Improvement Bonds, Series 1" may be mailed or otherwise delivered to the under- signed, but must be received by him prior to the time of said meeting. Each bid must be unconditional except as to bonds being issued and delivered with said opinion and the no litigation cer- tificate in conformity with this notice, and each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check payable to the order of "Villi:: of Arden Bills, Ramsey County, Minnesota" in the amount of $1-4. to be forfeited as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to comply therewith. Each bid shall specify only one interest rate expressed as a I multiple of one-quarter (1/4) or one-tenth (1/10) of one percent (1%) per annum. No split rate bids will be accepted and bids shall not provide for supplemental "B" coupons. The bid offering the lowest net interest cost (total interest from date of issuance to date of maturity, less any premium offered) will be deemed the most favorable. No bid for less than par plus accrued interest from date of issue to date of bond delivery will be considered and oral auction bids will not be received. The right to waive any informality in any bid and the right to reject any and all bids are reserved.
