Some lumber on the property, <br /> which I s to be used next spring, was arranged wel I; the owner does <br /> own two trucks which he uses In his business and these are kept on <br /> the property. Mayor Nethercut suggested that since the Village did <br /> receive a complaint concerning a rat problem that a closer InvestI- <br /> gation be madeo Referred to Public Safety. <br /> REPORT OF COUNCILMAN BJORNDAHL - Parks and Recreation <br /> . Ska1"lnq Rinks reported that he has starj"ed <br /> Fred Nixon, Road Maintenance Dept., <br /> to flood the two Village rinks and they should be ready for skating <br /> by this weekend, <br /> Councilman BJrondahl stated that there are reports to be made to <br /> the State Conservation Dept. Informing them of the number of gallons <br /> being' pumped from Lake Valentine for the Valentine Park rink. <br /> REPORT OF COUNCILMAN OLMEN - Public Works <br /> Publ ic Works Committee Meetln~ <br /> Councilman Olmen reported that a meeting had been held on Wednesday, <br /> November 15. 1967. The Committee concurred with the Council's <br /> action to employ Wayne Brunette In the Water Department and recom- <br /> mended further training I f necessar'y; they also recommended that <br /> the Water Department be separate from the Maintenance Department. <br /> -4- <br />
