Present - Mayor Nethercut, Trustees Crepeau, Olman. Bjorn dah I and <br /> Ho I I enhorst <br /> Absent - None <br /> Also Present - Village Atty. Vincent P. Courtney,VI Ilage Treasurer <br /> Worth G. Read, Engineer Norman HendriCkson. Building <br /> Inspector Clay Kelley. Administrative Clekr Lorreine <br /> Stromquist, Deputy Clerk Florence Honan. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> The minutes of the Regular Matting of 30 October 1967. were approved <br /> as submitted. <br /> BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF ATTY. VINCENT P. COURTNEY <br /> Employees' I nsurance Po II cy <br /> Atty. Courtney Informed the Council that the present status of the <br /> policy Is ambiguous; the applications states full or part time <br /> employees. but the policy states full time employees only. Atty. <br /> Courtney discussed this matter with Mr. Bretz, the Insurance agent. <br /> Mr. Bretz assured him that prt time employees are covered. but will <br /> contact the company and have a letter of confirmation sent to Atty. <br /> Courtney. <br /> Rosevl I Ie-Arden Hills Water Contract <br /> Atty. Courtney reported that he had met with Atty. Bell of Rosevi lie <br /> last Friday. He does not have a new draft from Rosevi I 10. but feels <br /> all the problems discussed with the ARden Hills Committee have been <br /> resolved satisfactorily. Atty. hopes to have the contract this week <br /> and will expect the Committee to meet with him again. <br /> Arden HII Is Water System Ordinance <br /> Atty. Courtney distributed to the Council copies of the proposed <br /> Water Ordinance and read those portions which Incorporated the changes <br />,. as reCommended. As recommended by Atty. Courtney, the Ordinance was <br /> referred to Bob McNlesh, Chairman of the Water Study Committee, for <br /> technical ~' and to the clerk for proof reading before publication. <br /> Trustee BJorndahl moved the rules be waived and an Ordinance be adopted <br /> establishing a municipal water system In the Village of Arden Hills, <br /> providing for connections thereto, charges therefor and penalties <br /> for violatIon, be given Its second and final reading, subject to tech- <br /> nical checking and proof reading; seconded by Trustee Olman; motion <br /> carried. <br /> Water Meter Bids <br /> Atty. Courtney reported that he will report on thIs matter at the <br /> next counc II meeting, whiCh will stili be withIn the 30 day period <br /> for the awarding of the bid. <br /> -1- <br />
