The motion carried <br /> (5_0). <br /> 9. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> A. Motion to Adopt Ordinance 2024-008 Amending the Arden Hills City Code <br /> Regarding Salaries for the Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Grant stated he pulled this item to provide background information to the public. He <br /> reported City Ordinance Chapter 2, Section 210.02 addressed Mayor and Councilmember <br /> salaries. He noted one issue for Cities is that often times salaries are not adjusted for the Mayor <br /> and City Council. He explained six years ago the Council realized this was an issue. He stated six <br /> years ago when an adjustment was made, the City Council set its salaries equal to Mounds View <br /> and an item was built into the Ordinance that the Council would review its salaries every six <br /> years. He indicated the Council would again be setting its salaries the same as Mounds View. <br />
