<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After a discussion of the views presented by persons <br />appearing at the public hearing for Water Improvement No. 67-1, <br />Crepeau then introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERItTG NATER I!1PROVE!-IENT NO. 67-1 <br />UNDER AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, <br />CHAPTER 429, AS AHENDED. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public <br />hearing pursuant to published and mailed notice, on proposed Water <br />Improvement No. 67-1 consisting of the construction of a con- <br />necting feeder water main to the PDseville water systems at <br />Glenhill Road and Hamline Avenue, and extendin9 northerly and <br />easterly to terminate at an elevated storage tank adjacent to <br />Fernwood Avenue approximately 2000 feet north of County Road F, <br />together with certain necessary distribution mains, largely <br />located within the commercial and industrial area of the village <br />which will also provide service connections to the property line, <br />a meter station at the south village limits and a water booster <br />station at approximately Red Fox Road, plus necessary fire hydrants <br />and control valves and other appurtenances at a cost estimated <br />presently to be approximately $630,250, all substantially in <br />accordance with a preliminary engineering report which is now <br />on file in the office of the Village Clerk; and having considered <br />the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the <br />premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said <br />improvement shall be constructed and financed, and special <br />assessments shall be levied therefor, pursuant to said Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and that the area proposed <br />to be assessed for said improvement will consist of the property <br />as described in the notice of hearing, or portion thereof; and <br />that the village engineers are hereby directed to prepare and <br />submit to the Council final plans and specifications for the <br />construction of said improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foreqoing resolution <br /> <br />was duly seconded by Hollenhorst, and upon roll call vote being <br /> <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />All <br /> <br />and the following against: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />~r:~~ <br />~ <br /> <br />-f) ,.=r <br />~ <br />~~' <br />
