<br />.coun1~Y Road F Sewer Contract
<br />Attorney Courtney submitted four copies of the contract between the
<br />Vii lage and Rosetown Sanitation for,the sewer extension project on County
<br />Road F stating that ,requirements have been met; h~ requested the sign-
<br />tures of the Mayor an~ CI~rk and three copies be submitted to Banister
<br />Engineering Company.
<br />
<br />.1967 Budqet Amendments
<br />Administrative Clerk Lorraine Stromquist reported that the Civil Defense
<br />amount bUdgeted for 1967 be changed as the County Auditor has stated that
<br />the maximum which can be budgeted is .20 per capita based on the 1960
<br />censu~ figure; the 1965 census figure 15 to be used for digarette and
<br />liquor purposes only.
<br />
<br />Trustee Bjorn~ahl moved the adoption of a rpsolution transferring the
<br />remaining balance of $8,935.35 in the 1966 Parks and Recreation Budget
<br />of 1966 to the 1967 budget as commitments were made for this money in
<br />1966, and that the Civil Defense figure be reduced in the 1967 Budget from
<br />$1,500 to $786.00 to comply with the law; seconded by Trustee Hollen-
<br />horst; motion carried.

<br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist and TrUSTee CreDeau Informed The Council of the
<br />background oi' this sign application. Clerk stated that applications had
<br />been sent to Presbyterian Homes t.lce but had not been returned until
<br />this afternoon after she had called Mr. Dodgson who then submitted the
<br />appllaation and sketch. Clerk stated that the approval of the sign
<br />~permlt would require a variance In the setback requirement. Trustee
<br />~Crepeau reported that he has been contacted numerous times requesting an
<br />answer as to why permission has not been granted. He STated that this
<br />sign is to be placed near a telephone post and would be a directional sign
<br />for the entrance to this home as visitors have a problem finding this
<br />roadway, and he can see no objection to the sign.
<br />
<br />Trustee Crepeau moved that the variance and permit be granted subject to
<br />con~urrence Qfthe Bo~rd of Appeals and the Planning Commission; seconded
<br />by Trustee Olmen, motion carried.
<br />
<br />Matter referred to Clerk Lorraine Stromquist to contact both committees
<br />for immediate recommendations.

<br />Trustee Bjorndahl informed the Council that complaints have been received
<br />regarding sewer odor from the area south of Control Data between Lex-
