Absent - Councilmen Olmen and Henderson <br />Also Present - Attorney Vincent P. Courtney, Engineer Donald Lund, <br />Treasurer Worth G. Read, Plumbing Inspector Winfield West, <br />Maintenance Supervisor Everett Beecher, Administrative <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist and Deputy Clerk Florence Honan <br /> <br />· ~~~~~~~_~t_~L~~t~~ <br />The minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of October 14, 1968 were <br />approved as amended. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - SANITARY SEWER NO. 11 <br /> <br />Mayor Bjorndahl declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund described the areas of the four separate projects In- <br />Cluded In this assessment for a total assessed amount of $3,691.40; <br />the cost of the projects was $4,017.52. The assessments were based <br />on $6.90 a lineal foot - $3.10 a lineal foot had already been assessed. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund stated that favorable feasIbIlity reports had been <br />submitted to the Council by Banister Engineering Co. <br /> <br />Atty. Courtney Informed the Council that he had reviewed the matter; <br />the purpose of the hearing Is to answer questions regardIng the <br />asse ssmen ts. <br /> <br />There were no questIons or comments from the floor. Clerk Lorraine <br />Stromquist stated that no letters were received regarding the assess- <br />ments. <br /> <br />Mayor Bjorndahl then declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br />Councilman Crepeau moved the adoption of a Resolution, as attached, <br />approving the assessment roll as submitted by Engineer Lund, and <br />directed the Clerk to accept prepaid assessments for a period of 30 <br />days; seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst; motion carried. <br /> <br />I'!.LIL~Lt'LI~~L~~~_r:.'!!:~ - Sewe r Serv I ce Request <br />James Adams, Twin City Trailer Park, was present regarding his re- <br />quest for Council approval to permit the trailer park to connect to <br />the New Brighton Sewer System. Clerk reported she had received a <br />written request from Mr. Adams. Clerk Lorraine Stromquist reported <br />. she had received a cal I from Mr. Schaeffer, New Brighton Village <br />Manager. He informed her that Carley Engineering is studying the <br />matter to determine If capacity Is available to accommoda~the <br />trailer park, but New Brighton would like to pursue the matter with <br />,Arden Hills officials. <br /> <br />. Said letter <br />was not received before the counc! I meeting, but the representative <br />submitted a copy of this letter. The requests outlined were as <br />follows: <br />1. Extend VictorIa west from Lexington along the <br />north boundary of said property to Fernwood <br />Avenue (extended) <br />2. Extend Fernwood north from Its present terminus <br />near the Arden Hil Is water tower to Victoria <br />(extended), whIch road Is along the west boundary <br />of said property. <br />3.
