Lund submitted estimated costs of constructing this road. <br />The total cost for constructing 240 feet of 30 foot wide street with <br />Sewer and Water service, was estimated at $7,550.00; the estimated <br />cost of a 15 foot wide road for 240 feet, without sewer and water <br />~rvlce is $1,060.00. <br /> <br />~ was moved by Councilman J. Hottenhorst and seconded by H. Crepeau <br />to allow the appl icant, Mr. Wagoner, to place a private driveway on <br />.thlS road right-of-way as per agreement until future development of the <br />area warrants a permanent road to serve the properties to the north; <br />motion carried. Lund reported on the progress of contract completion of <br />Water Improvement 67-1. He stated that sodding has been completed <br />except for the areas where he has requested the contractor to delay <br />completion because of sewer and water line and a county drainage <br />project. These areas are Fernwood Ave. for water and sewer lines <br />and Harkins Golf Tees for completion of a county drainage proJect. <br /> <br />~~~!.~!~_~[!:~~~~~!._~!.!tu~ - St. Paul Bible College & Mr. Jurgenson <br />Engineer D. Lund advised that this pondlng area should not be decreased <br />In size by grading or covering of debris at this location (Tiller In. <br />and Cannon Ave.) He reported he has not received a reply from St. <br />Paul Bible College on their plans for this area. Clerk was requested <br />to advise Mr. Jurgenson that the pond must not be decreased in size, <br />but debris must be covered in Its entIrety, or removed as soon as <br />possible. <br /> <br />~~~_~~!.a~!.Q~~2.!~ - Proposed Change in Alignment. <br />Engineer Don Lund reported he wrote to Mr. Snyker, Ramsey County Engineer's <br />office, regarding this proposed re~al rgnment, but has not received an <br />answer to date. <br /> <br />REPORT OF BUILDiNG INSPECTOR CLAY KELLEY <br /> <br />Clerk L. Stromquist read the Building Inspector's report in which he <br />reported on the construction of the Grudnoske building at 1440 W <br />Highway 96 (attached). <br /> <br />Clerk Stromquist was requested to contact Mr. Grudnoske re the welt at <br />this bul iding. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCiLMAN J. HOLLENHORST, PLANNING & ZONING <br /> <br />4Ilse No. 68-19 - Sussel I Co. <br />Councfrman-J~-Hol!enhorst reported that this variance request was <br />~denled by the Planning Commission for lack of adequate information <br />~nd the applicant was not present to submit this additional informa- <br />tion. He requested the matter be re-referred to the Planning Commis- <br />sion for consideration at their meeting of August 6, at which time <br />Mr. Polmyros will represent the applicant and submit reasons for the <br />request and a sketch. Hollenhorst moved that this Special Use Permit for a base- <br />ment apartment be approved subject to the following: 1. Apartment to <br />be occupied by two members of the immediate family only. 2.
