ROBERT RAETZ, 1703 County Road F: Asked what the water <br />rate would be per thousand gallons and wanted to know how this <br />compared to Roseville and Fridley which has its own water system. <br />On the basis of $.50 a thousand gallons he anticipated it \10uld <br />not be unusual to have a bill of $20 a month during the sunmlex <br />ro~nths. Was informed that this would be unusually high. A150 <br />llsked what the policy would be in connection with existing wells. <br /> <br />R1R. RALPH J. PERRY, 3670 New Brighton Road: He lives on the <br />east side of the roaa. If the water main is constructed on the <br />vest side, who will bring it across the street. Also asked if a <br />person owns a piece of property large enough for two lots, would <br />he have t\iO connections or one and asked if the connection charge <br />would be included with the assessment and spread with general taxes. <br /> <br />MR. JOSEPH liC DONALD, 4057 Valentine Court: Asked how the <br />installation of water would affect his home owners insurance rates. <br /> <br />MR. WILLDU1 DOI4NING, 1691 Crystal; owns a pie shaped lot <br />which will abut water mains on three sides. Asked for the <br />definition of a front foot. Wanted to know why the bonds to <br />finance the improvement would run over a 20 year period. Also <br />asked what the maintenance costs would be on the water system. <br />Asked how the soil in this area of the country would affect the <br />water mains, and wanted to know where the water meters would be <br />placed. Also asked what kind of performance clause would be re- <br />quired of the contractor for damage to property, and wanted to know <br />what the water pressure \iOuld be. <br /> <br />HR. C. M. BUCKINGHAM, 1700 Glenview: In connection with <br />federal funds which will be sought for the improvement, would <br />those funds be used specifically for this water improvement or <br />for the overall village water construction.
