<br />"=1 .. <br /> <br />, - <br />< <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of Village Council of <br />village of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />HElld April 29, 1968. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the V111age Council <br /> <br />of the Village of Arden Hills met in regular session at the <br /> <br />Village Hall on Monday, the 29th day of April, 1968 at 8:00 <br /> <br />0' clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: MayorBJorndahl <br /> <br />Councilmen Crepeau, Olmenr Hollenhorst and Henderson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilman ~"u, introduced the following <br /> <br />resolution and moved its,adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGINEERS PRELIMINARY <br />REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />WATER IMPROVEMEN'l' NO. 68-3 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Arden <br /> <br />Hills as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Council has heretofore directed Banister Engineering <br />Company, consulting engineers, 310 Snelling Avenue, Saint paul, <br />Minnesota, to prepare a preliminary report as to the feasibility <br />of a proposed improvement lying generally south of County Road <br />E and east of Lake Johanna exclusive of the areas included in <br />Water Improvements 67-1, 67-2 and 68-1 consisting of the con- <br />struction of trunk and lateral water mains and necessary <br />appurtenances, and the estimated cost thereof, and as to whethe~ <br />such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost <br />estimate have been submitted by the engineers and considered by <br />the Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on <br />file in the office of the clerk. The improvement proposed to <br />be made in the general manner set forth in the report is deSignat- <br />ed as water Improvement No. 68-3. <br /> <br />2. The Council shall meet at the Little Theater in the <br />Mounds View High School, 1900 W. County Road F, in said village, <br />on May 23, 1968, at 8:00 o'cloCk p.m. for the purpose of holding <br />a public hearing on the proposed improvement under and pursuant <br />to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, <br />and the clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice <br />of the time, place and purpose of that meeting to be published <br />twice in the official newspaper, New Brighton Bulletin, which <br />publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication <br />shall be not less than three days before the date of the hearing. <br />Pursuant to M.S. 429.031, Subdivision 1, notice shall also be <br />mailed to the owner of each parcel within the area proposed to be <br />aSSessed not less than 10 days prior to such hearing. <br /> <br />3.
