After a discussion of the views presented by persons appearing at the public hearing for Water Improvement No. 68-1 Counci:lman Crepeau then introduced the following ~ resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING WA'l'ER IUPROVEMENT NO. 68-1 UNDER AND PURSUANT TO ~~INNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429, AS Al~NDED. ~ ~ ~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Arden Hills, ~1innesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Hinnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing pursuant to published and mailed notice, on proposed Water Improvement No. 68-1 consisting of the construction of meter stations, feeder mains, lateral mains and appurtenances and water services, at a cost estimated presently to be approximately $647,000, all substantially in accordance with a preliminary engineering report which is now on file in the office of the Vil- lage Clerk, and having considered the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be con- structed and financed, and special assessments shall be levied therefor, pursuant to said Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and that the area proposed to be assessed for said improvement will consist of the property as described in the notice of hearing, or portion thereof, and that the village engineers are hereby directed to prepare and submit to the Council final plans and specifications for the construction of said improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Olmen , and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All and the follcndng against: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
