Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Mounds View High School Crosswalk Signal Maintenance Agreement <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$1,000 (2025 operating budget) $1,000 (routine maint.) Street Maintenance <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Agreement for Maintenance of Traffic Control Signal Systems Agreement No. <br />PUBW2024-15R <br />Backaround/Discussion <br />This Agreement is between Ramsey County and the City of Arden Hills, for the maintenance and <br />operation of a single local traffic control system located on Lake Valentine Road at Mounds <br />View High School within the City of Arden Hills. <br />The City is responsible for all maintenance, inspection, testing, trouble -shooting, repair, and <br />replacement of the signal system. Arden Hills Public Works does not have the resources to <br />conduct these responsibilities in-house and therefore have requested that the County perform all <br />such responsibilities on the City's behalf. Attachment A is the agreement to retain the County on <br />an annual basis to perform the necessary maintenance. <br />The City Attorney has reviewed the agreement as Attachment A, City Staff recommends <br />approving Agreement No. PUBW2024-15R. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
