The motion carried <br /> (5-0). <br /> 9. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> A. Motion to Authorize Purchase and Installation of Playground Equipment at <br /> Freeway Park and Purchase of Additional Equipment for Arden Oaks Park <br /> Councilmember Monson stated there was discussion around having one of the two parks slated <br /> for improvements in 2025 being more nature based. She explained this topic was discussed <br /> further by the Council during a work session and after reviewing plans, the Council learned the <br /> playground equipment was not nature-based but rather was nature themed. She commented <br /> further on how the parks master plan would assist with planning for future parks and park <br /> amenities, such as a nature-based playground. <br />
