City staff is conducting background checks on the top candidate and <br /> has the placed the hiring of this individual on the September 26th City Council meeting agenda. <br /> The deadline for accepting applications for the open Community Development Director position <br /> was September 2nd The City received twenty applications for the vacant position. City staff has <br /> scheduled interviews for September 16th and September 20th. Eleven candidates have been asked <br /> to participate in the first round of interviews. <br /> .
