A ZERH is a high-performance home that is so energy efficient, a <br />renewable energy system could offset most or all the home's annual <br />energy use. <br />DOE Zero Energy Ready Home Program (ZERH) <br />Requirements: <br />1. A home must meet all requirements of the applicable program version, <br />based on building type. <br />Townhomes can participate in either single family or multifamily <br />programs <br />Single family with permit after 1/1/24 - Single Family Version 2, Rev. 1 <br />Multifamily with permit after 1/1/25 - Multifamily Version 2 <br />2. The builder/developer must be registered as a ZERH program partner <br />Requires free registration and watching a 40-minute online training <br />3. The project must be certified by an approved third-party verifier <br />DOE Zero Energy Ready Home Program (ZERH) <br />Funding: <br />45L tax credit is $5,000 for single family homes, and <br />$5,000 per dwelling unit <br />Need to meet prevailing wage requirements <br />Offered from 12/31/22-1/1/33 <br />44
