Growth Coordinating Committee, <br />requests the support of the Council in the,o' 4QO copies of the <br />Community Profile, at a cost of $35.00. ~ <br /> <br />Councilman Henderson moved adoption of the resolution, attached, <br />seconded by Counci lman Hollenhorst; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Stromquist was requested to make any corrections <br />In the copy, If possible. before reieasing for printing. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Public Works <br /> <br />(Absent - "eport given by Chairman Roger Rei ling, Public Works Com- <br />m I ttee .l <br /> <br />Street Sign Requests <br />Mr. Reiling advised the Council that the Public Works Committee <br />recommends approval of street signs as requested on FI~ral Drive at <br />James Circle, Norma Circle and Gale Circle; the location of the sign <br />at Bethel Drive and Highway 51 was questioned because it would <br />i probably be on private property. <br /> <br />, It was moved by Councilman Hollenhorst that all the above mentioned <br />. street signs be approved, as requested. seconded by Councilman Henderson; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />State Aid Roads <br />: (See report of Engineer Donald Lund.l <br />, <br />, <br />, REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. Government & Public Safety <br />I <br />Public Safetx Committee Report <br /> <br />Life Insurance Benefits - Mayor Crepeau advised the Council that the <br />Public Safety Committee recommends that the police officers' life <br />Insurance benefits be raised. After discussion, it was moved by <br />Counc! Iman Hollenhorst and seconded by Councilman Herrick that the <br />poHce officer's life insurance benefits be raised from $2,500 to <br />I $5.000 at once, and the double Indemnity feature be provided If It <br />: Includes "in the line of duty"; coverage to be effective unt! I terminaTion <br />, <br />i of polley ~eriod with the present carrier; motion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Squad Car Bids - Mayor Crepeau advised the Council that 3 bids were <br />received for the new squad car, attached. advising that the Public <br />Safety Committee recommends approval of the bid from Ron Saxon Ford. <br />After discussion, it was moved by Counci Iman Hoilenhorst and seconded <br />by Councilman Herrick that the Council concur with the Public Safety <br />Committee's recommendations to approve the Ron Saxon Ford Company bid <br />In the amount of $3.889.00; motion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Lexin ton Ave. and Count Rd. E Intersection <br />Mayor Crepeau reviewed a letter from S oreview re the intersection of <br />Lexington Ave; and County Rd.
