Rd. <br />skatinc rink. <br />September 30, 1968 - Council <br />Mayor Bjorndahl reported on the meeting of Sept. <br />10 and submitted a sketch of an area behind the Co. Rd. <br />E Hockey Rink for use as a parking lot. <br />Cctober 14, 1968 - Council <br />Zr. Brodie advised that the Planning Co^.lmission <br />recommends approval of the proposed purchase of the <br />lot south of the Hockey Rink for use as a narking lot . <br />October 28, 1968- Courcil <br />Councilman Crepeau moved approval of the revised <br />contract between the Village and U. S. Realty for the <br />ofandLotBlockArdenHillsIo.purchas.. 32 , 3 c 1 , Ar2 , <br />authorized the Mayor and Clerk to sign same ; seconded <br />by Councilman hollenhorst; motion carried . <br />November 25 , 1968 - Council <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist has a written opinion, <br />dated Nov. 25, 1968, from Atty. Courtney regarding the <br />title for this property. Atty. Courtney pointed out <br />that there are deed restrictions on this lot which are <br />valid until 1976 . The use of this lot for parking <br />could possibly be in violation with the residential only <br />use restriction. Atty. Courtney informed the Council <br />of three possible actions which the Council could take ; <br />1 . The contract could be "oided as the property is not <br />marketable for the proposed use . 2 . Village could apply <br />to the District Court to have the restrictions set <br />aside . 3 .
