This <br />count will better enable the Committee to assess the problem. <br />October 14, 1974 - Council <br />Buckley distributed copies of proposed landscape <br />plan for Freeway Park. In discussion, Council noted that <br />a parking lot is still shown on the site plan. Concern <br />re percentage of park area proposed for plantings was <br />expressed . Buckley explained that this park is intednded <br />for mainly passive recreation ; intended as a pre-school <br />park; small area of active recreation (basketball and tennis <br />practice) . Feyereisen moved , seconded by 77incert, <br />that. the Council authorize ofpurchasethe plar.tincs, <br />as requested in the amount of $136 .56 ; motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />November , 1974 - Park <br />Tree planting was completed in Freeway Park. <br />June 30 , 1975 - Council <br />Second priority for 1975 Park Development is addition <br />of wooden climbing structure, hard surface area and <br />sandbox at Freeway Park. Crichton moved approval of <br />the plan for Freeway Park. I1otion was seconded by <br />Yoodburn.
