HISTORY <br />Ingerson Park was purchased from Wayne Heeman on April <br />3, 1969 . The park had two site plans drawn up - Peter Jacobson , <br />1969 , rejected by neighborhood , and Dennis Adams . In 1968 the <br />building on the lot was demolished ; in 1972 the house was <br />burned by the Fire Department . In 1974 vandals burned the <br />barn structure in the park . <br />1971 saw two picnic tables complete with locks purchased <br />and installed . In 1973 $263 .00 was spent on a berm for the <br />park, hard surface play area , baseball standard , backstop , <br />swinging benches , barbeque , bench , and surfacing the driveway . <br />The Josephine Hills Garden Club helped greatly <br />through time and effort towards the development of the park . <br />Al/
