1 <br />Area #6 Honda Hills <br />1970 Population: 91 <br />Projected Population: 1,327 <br />Total Required Acreage for Parks: 13 Acres <br />1976 Existing Park Acreage: 30 Acres <br />Additional Park Acreage Needed: 0 Acres <br />Acreage Available Through Dedication: 12 Acres <br />The Honda Hills Area is located in west central Arden Hills. <br />This is one of the least developed neighborhoods of Arden <br />Hills, although at least two large scale proposals for resi- <br />dential development have been received by the city in the <br />past few years. <br />The area' s recreational needs are more than adequately served <br />by Valentine Hills School and Charles Perry Park. The Parks <br />and Recreation Department 1973 Comprehensive Park Report sug- <br />gests that. . . . "the Village should accept dedication dollars <br />in lieu of part of the land, but should insist on obtaining <br />the low land in the northeast corner to ensure flowage from <br />Lake Valentine.
