MINUTES CONCERNING PERRY PARK <br />1965 <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes : January <br />Playgrounds for the future were considered and discussed , <br />using the tentative map put out by Carl Dale for the Planning Com- <br />mission . The Committee feels that it should wait for the Planning <br />Commission ' s Report as rules are being set up requiring platters to <br />give 10% of land for recreation . <br />May <br />Land Acquisition Vera Langer to contact Ralph Perry about <br />N . B. Road and County Road E-2 area . <br />June <br />New Brighton Road and County Road E-2 Area . Ralph Perry <br />will sell swamp area , approximately 10 acres plus , for $500 per <br />acre. There is a 30 ft . right of way over the railroad tracks on <br />the south . The Village of Arden Hills paid Perry $ 1 ,400 for this <br />right of way which gives access to a sewer pumping station - this <br />1 , 400 would be subtracted from the purchase price . Sewer assess- <br />ments are due on this property and the purchaser would have to pay <br />his share. <br />Mr. Newman of Rees , Thompson and Scoggins reported the <br />owner of 132 acres adjoining Perry ' s property is asking $3 , 000 per <br />acre and will sell it only in one piece . <br />September <br />Perry Property - 22 acres off New Brighton Road . This <br />property includes a home appraised by Mr . Kuehn at about $22, 500 .
