Paul Recreation <br />Department and possibly begin a project now . A motion was made <br />and seconded to check into getting some free clean fill and if we <br />could to use it to begin filling the slough area designated as a <br />baseball diamond in Charles Perry Park. <br />1969 <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes : January <br />Girl Scout Troop 21 wants to work this summer on some <br />Village beautification project at Perry Park. <br />February <br />The committee is planning now for spring tree planting <br />in Perry Park. One thousand trees will be purchased , probably <br />Colorado Blue Spruce and Norway Pine . Details of planting and <br />watering will be worked out by the planting date . <br />March <br />Colorado Blue Pine seedlings haveSpruceandNorwayeedlinp been <br />ordered and will be available in May . Ken Boss will check on the <br />pick-up date . The Arden Hills Junior Chamber of Commerce have <br />volunteered to handle the planting and care of the trees . Approval <br />will be given if this is cleared legally by Attorney Courtney . <br />April <br />Plowing for seedlings to begin when ground is suffi - <br />ciently dry . Arden Hills Jaycees will work on this project .
