Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />option for Freeway Park (based off comments from the Survey and Open House <br />received from the public) and to move forward with site design for both parks. <br /> <br />Bolton and Menk returned with the nature play options to Council in October, but <br />Council ultimately chose to go with the play structure most highly voted on in the <br />resident survey for Freeway Park. The play structures now have been ordered and <br />prices locked in from the vendors. <br /> <br />Next steps are: <br />o Feb/March 2025 - Project bidding <br />o April 2025 – Award construction contract <br />o Summer/Fall 2025 - Construction <br /> <br />New/Updated Items: <br />• Hazelnut Parking Lot Status Update: Cost-share and maintenance responsibility <br />negotiations continue with the Church representatives. The City has the parking lot <br />resurfacing project budgeted for construction in 2025. The City and the Church are <br />both anticipating having this work completed in 2025. <br />
