Yenna Co. , May <br />1957 , for $10,000. ( lots 1,2,3 of block 1 and lots 1 ,2 ,3 of <br />block 4, Arden Hills #2) . The Minnesota Highway Depart- <br />ment purchased 70 ,095 square feet of this for $8,748.86 <br />leaving all of lot 3 and part of lot 2 in block 1, Arden <br />Hills #2 ) . Arden-Hills vacated a portion of Glenarden <br />Road, Narch 30, 195S . One lot purchased from Dorothy A. <br />Johnson, Uovember 1968 for $4,000. ( lot 32 , Block 1, Arden <br />Hills #2 ) . <br />Type of park: neighborhood . <br />Unique: features: very small and flat with two levels separated <br />1111 by short but steep hill . The upper level is fenced and <br />lighted for winter s}:atino , presently supports little vece- <br />tation and is accessible from major street. The lower <br />area is accessible from minor neighborhood street and is <br />somewhat protected from major traffic; it supports more <br />vegetation than upper but has poor drainage (heavy clay <br />soil) .
