2. Implement controlled burns into land management. We hope to address <br />this item through recommendations provided by GRG. <br />3. Create a plan for removing and managing buckthorn. PTRC facilitated a <br />relationship with GRG to assist with land management and removal <br />of invasives throughout city property. <br />4. Create and maintain rain gardens throughout the community. PTRC <br />members implemented a plan to provide education to residents at <br />National Night Out and an inventory of rain gardens throughout the <br />community. <br />IV. Future Planning <br />A. Goal: Remain up to date on upcoming and future projects to ensure PTRC is able <br />to give feedback at the front of projects. <br />1. Create an early priority list for planning RCC. <br />2. PTRC liaison to attend planning meetings and keep up to date on <br />upcoming and future projects. <br />PTRC members attended planning meetings throughout the year and shared information <br />with the PTRC. <br />V. Volunteer Coordination. <br />A. Provide information on the City's website for volunteer opportunities with the city. <br />B. Maintain a database of volunteers. <br />C. Assist with volunteer recruitment as needed to further PTRC goals as determined <br />by the City Council. <br />Spring Egg Hunt - PTRC member(s) created and managed a Sign Up Genius to get <br />volunteer help, also helped with registration at the event <br />Crepeau Nature Preserve - PTRC member(s) coordinated between Public Works and a <br />group from Boston Scientific to spread wood chips along the trail. <br />Cummings Park - PTRC member(s) coordinated with another group from Boston <br />Scientific and Public Works to pick up trash <br />Flashlight Pumpkin Hunt - PTRC member(s) created and managed the Sign Up Genius to <br />get volunteers and also helped with registration at the event <br />
