City of Arden Hills <br />RFP for Recycling Services <br />Qualifications Questionnaire <br />General Management <br />Describe the management structure of your company, including local decision -making <br />authority related to this Contract. <br />Financial Stability and Strength <br />Provide financial data for the previous three years (e.g., balance sheets, annual report). <br />Recyclables Collection Experience <br />List other communities in Minnesota for which you provide contracted services for <br />single -stream recycling, the length of time you have provided those services, and the <br />number of customers in each contract. Describe your experience with collections from <br />residential, single-family households and multi -dwelling units (MDUs). <br />Special Events <br />List and summarize your past experience with providing recycling services at special <br />events (e.g., community clean up events, other community events, etc.). <br />MRF Residuals History <br />List the process residuals rate for similar residential curbside recyclables collected for <br />the past three years, even if the materials recovery facility (MRF) is owned or operated <br />by another company. Identify the name and location of each MRF and the residual rate <br />(percent of total incoming curbside residential recyclables). <br />Measurement of Contaminants as Collected <br />Describe your plan for measuring the frequency (e.g., percent of single unit dwellings <br />that place unacceptable materials in the Recycling cart) and type of contaminants as <br />collected. <br />Measurement of Participation <br />Describe your plan for measuring the participation rates of curbside Recycling <br />customers (e.g., percent of single unit dwellings and opt -in establishments that set out <br />Recyclables at least once over a six -week period of observation). <br />Recyclables Marketing Plan <br />What is your plan to address the fluctuating market prices for Recyclables? <br />Form B - 2 <br />
