MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MN AND <br />I.U.O.E., LOCAL 49 <br />Overtime Clarification <br />WHEREAS, the Labor Agreement between I.U.O.E., Local 49 and the City of Arden Hills <br />stipulates when the EMPLOYER will pay overtime, <br />THEREFORE, this Memorandum of Understanding is written to summarize the City and <br />bargaining unit's expectations regarding overtime pay: <br />o Depending on the schedule set by the EMPLOYER, bargaining unit EMPLOYEES <br />will be eligible for overtime pay after eight hours worked on a normally scheduled <br />day, or forty hours in a work week; however, during times when the regularly <br />scheduled work day goes beyond eight hours, such as summer hours, the employee <br />will be paid overtime during hours worked outside of the set schedule. For <br />example, during summer hours an EMPLOYEE is expected to work between 6:30 <br />am and 4:00 pm, the EMPLOYEE would be eligible for overtime outside of those <br />hours assuming the EMPLOYEE was working during those hours. <br />This Memorandum of Understanding will remain in effect from January 1, 2025 through <br />December 31, 2027. <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING <br />By: _ <br />Mayor <br />By: <br />Interim City Administrator <br />Date: <br />ENGINEERS, LOCAL No. 49 <br />Date: <br />25 <br />
