<br />, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />MARCH 29, 2004 <br /> <br />IS <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant - Stated the Assessment Policy Task Force met recently and they were <br />looking at a unit assessment. He stated their next meeting was Thursday, April I. <br /> <br />Couucilmember Rem - Stated Mounds View High School was having a first meeting of their <br />task force on Tuesday, April 6. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson - Stated the Relief Association was having a training session this <br />Wednesday, March 31 at 6:30 p.m. He reiterated that he did not believe it was good practice to <br />keep giving building variances on materials, but if he was the only one that felt this way, they <br />might want to consider changing the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski - Stated Councilmember Larson's concerns regarding building variances for <br />materials should be discussed at a joint Planning Commission Work Session with the Council. <br />She requested staff set up this meeting. She stated Guidant had received the loan of $250,000 <br />fTOm the Department of Economic Development. She thanked staff for their assistance with this <br />loan. She stated the Irondale Band had requested a letter signed by the Mayor for their project, <br />which she would sign unless there were any objections.
