Resolution 04-35: Approvinl!: a Sil!:n Location on North Snellinl!: <br /> <br />Mr. Moore stated staff had reviewed the Minnesota Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices and a <br />stand-alone post with two signs in an urban area was acceptable, He requested the Council <br />approve the installation of a "Stop" sign and a "No Right Turn" sign in the City's right-of-way, <br />located on the south side of the North Heights Lutheran Church entrance to North Snelling <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Grant <br />seconded a motion to approve Resolution 04-35: Approving a <br />Sign Location on North Snelling. The motion carried unanimously <br />(5-0), <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />Ms. Wolfe - None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden - Stated the Newsletter Committee met last week and the newsletter <br />was progressing. She asked for an update on the Karth Lake pumping. Mr. Moore replied the <br />high water level mark ofKarth Lake was set by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and <br />that was the level that the association and City agreed to keep the lake at <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant - Stated the Assessment Task Force met last week and they were <br />progressing and with possibly two or three meetings, they would have a proposal for Council. <br />He stated the next task force meeting was April 15, 2004. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem - Stated the NRC meeting was on March 31 and the tape was at the <br />library for review, She stated on April 1, 2004, there was a neighborhood meeting regarding the <br />County Road E trail and believed it would be good to have another neighborhood meeting, if <br />possible, or in the alternative, give the neighborhood notice when this comes before Council. <br />Mr. Moore replied they did have time for another neighborhood meeting, if Council wished. <br /> <br />Ms. Wolfe stated they needed to determine what the bottom line of the results were, but they <br />would keep the neighborhood informed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson stated the PTRC might also want to get involved with any rerouting of <br />the trail proposal. Ms. Wolfe replied there was timing sensitivity to this and if possible, they <br />would have the PTRC look at this. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated the Mounds View High School Task Force met last week and <br />would meet again on April 20, 2004, She asked if the Planning Commission meeting would be <br />televised. She believed this would be a good thing to do ifit was in the cable budget <br />
