<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />MARCH 31, 2003 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish replied the City's practice had been to apply the MSA fund to the <br />City's portion and not the residents' portion. <br /> <br />Dave Gustafson, 1280 Ine:erson Road, asked what the official assessment <br />amount of that property was. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown replied it was $9,450.30 for 183.5 feet of frontage. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden stated she had been assessed for her street a couple of <br />years ago and shared some of the frustration of having an irregular shaped lot, as <br />well. <br /> <br />The City Council directed staff to provide written documentation/information on <br />the various objections and that this information would be presented at the next <br />Council meeting on April 14, 2003. Staff was also directed to notify/contact each <br />of the residents who filed an objection that they should appear at that Council <br />meeting for a final determination. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Rem <br />seconded a motion to continue the public hearing to April 14, <br />2003. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski recessed the meeting at 8:12 p.m. and reconvened at 8:27 p.m. <br /> <br />6. COMMUNITY SERVICES <br /> <br />A. BUILDING <br /> <br />1. City Hall Mechanical System <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish explained Johnson Controls had completed a commissioning report <br />on the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HV AC) and building automation <br />system (BAS). The report showed that many deficiencies exist. After two <br />meetings with staff, the contractor had agreed to repair all deficiencies noted in the <br />commissioning report at no additional cost to the City. The contractor had also <br />agreed to pay for the entire cost of the commissioning report. He stated the <br />contractor had been making the necessary repairs over the past three weeks, with <br />
