<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - FEBRUARY 14,2000 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Larson seconded a <br />motion to approve the following charge for the Ingerson Road Improvement <br />Review Group: "To evaluate and make recommendations regarding the scope of <br />a road improvement project for the Ingerson neighborhood." The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Larson seconded a <br />motion to approve the makeup of the Ingerson Road Improvement Review Group <br />to include: <br /> <br />. Two City staff members, Mr. Greg Brown, City Engineer and Mr. Dwayne <br />Stafford, the Public Works Director. <br />. Two City Councilmembers, Councilmembers Larson and Grant. <br />. Five residents ofthe neighborhood. <br />. One representative from the Operations and Finance Committee and one <br />representative from the Planning Cormnission. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski asked Ms. Swanson if she was willing to serve as Chair for the <br />group. Ms. Swanson stated that she was. Councilmember Aplikowski suggested the following <br />names for representation of the neighborhood: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. Ms. Linda Swanson, 1124 Ingerson Road <br />. Ms. Christine Peterson, 1112 Carlton Drive <br />. Mr. Richard Hanson, 3254 North Hamline Avenue <br />. Ms. Therese Cain, Executive Director, Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly <br />. Mr. Phillipa Lundquist, 1111 Ingerson Road <br /> <br />Mr. Stafford noted that none of these residents represented the lower end of Ingerson Road. <br />Councilmember Rem suggested that Ms. Dorothy Vawter be included in the group. <br />Councilmember Aplikowski asked if the number of residents should be increased, or if one of the <br />names should be climinated in order to add Ms. Vawter to the group. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson suggested that rather than the City Council selecting the neighborhood <br />representatives, the list of interested residents be given to the group Chair in order for the group <br />to determine who will serve. Councilmember Grant agreed. Ms. Swanson asked how many <br />residents, in addition to herself~ should be included in the group. Councilmember Aplikowski <br />suggested that the group be made up of five residents, including Ms. Swanson. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst suggested that the City Council appoint Ms. Swanson as Chair of the group and, <br />once the neighborhood representatives are selected, the Council can appoint these individuals <br />under the next Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion <br />to appoint Ms. Linda Swanson as Chair of the Ingerson Road Improvement <br />
