Crepeau, Jr., Councilme~ Charles <br />Crichton, Ron Herrick and Stan Olmen. <br />Absent - Councilman John Hollenhorst. <br />Also Present ~ Attorney James Lynden, Planning Commission Members <br />J. Wingert and R. Woodburn, Clerk AdmInistrator <br />C. McNiesh. <br /> <br />. Certifica1-ion of Election, November 6, 1973 <br />Herrick moved approval of the attached minutes of the election <br />declaring Henry J. Crepeau, Jr. elected Mayor for a term of two <br />years and Wi I lia~ Feyerelsen and James Wingert elected Council~ <br />men for a period of three years. Motion seconded by Olmen, <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Village Planner Contract <br />J. Wingert noted that the present Village agreement for plan- <br />ning services Is with J. Darling I Associates, and that R. Shetler <br />Is no longer affiliated with that firm. Shetler advised the p~J.~~; ~ thaT he' planned 'TO use <br />office fac! I itles of Carl Dale for typing etc., and felt he could <br />complete the Long Range Plan and serve as technical planning <br />advisor though working alone. <br /> <br />In reply to Council questions re the status of the Long Range <br />Plan, Wingert said preSentation of the Comprehensive Plan was <br />scheduled for October 30th; that meeting was cancelled since Plan <br />was not ready for presentation; the matter is on the Planning <br />Commission agenda for November 8. <br /> <br />Discussion followed re advisability of having Shetler finish the <br />Long Range Plan, and the Village need for technical planning <br />services. <br /> <br />After discussion Herrick moved, seconded by Olman that the J. <br />Darling & Associates contract with the Village be terminated <br />as of November 19, 1973. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Crichton moved that proper arrangements be made with Shetler <br />and/or J. Darling & Associates for payment of the contractual <br />agreement for the Long Range Plan when al I phases of the Plan <br />are satisfactor'ily completed, total cost of Long Range Plan not <br />to exceed $9,000.00. Herrick seconded, motion carried unani- <br />mously. Mayor Crepeau appointed a committee, consisting of <br />Lyndon, Wingert, Woodburn and McNiesh to meet with Shetler and <br />. (Clerk to invite proposals from <br />J. Darling & Associates and from R. Shetler as well as other <br />planners). <br />C.....' (,J <br />For the Interim pet-Iod It was the consensus that R. Shetler",be <br />retained on a month to month basis as technical advisor. <br /> <br />Johansen Sick Leave <br />Th~ status of Johanson's accumulated sick leave and the Village <br />total disability insurance coverage was discussed. Herrick <br />moved, seconded by Dlmen that Johanson's sick leave be extended <br /> <br /> <br />( <br />~I- <br />
