The matter remains <br />unresolved as to whom will have first option when the land is released. <br />Mr, Crichton said that Ramsey County desires the strip around the <br />lake as welt as the approximately 40 acres now owned by Bussard and <br />Winiecki (south and southeast of the lake). <br /> <br />Mrs. Grudnoske said that some of the property owners around the lake <br />were notified of the Ramsey County Park Board hearing, but Griffis <br />(west side of lake) had not been notified until she had cal led him. <br /> <br />4It Mrs. Grudnoske read a quote from Federal U.S. Statutes at Large _ <br />77th Congress, dated October 16, 1941, which she said was the basis <br />of the 1952 law which provides, in effect, that Federal land, considered <br />to be excess, be returned to original propertyowners.. <br /> <br />After discussion, Clerk Administrator was asked to write .to the Ramsey <br />County Park Board, asking that when additional public hearings are <br />scheduled re this land acquisition, they be held at the Arden Hil Is <br />Village Hall. <br /> <br />The Council thanked Mrs. Grudnoske for her time In notifying residents <br />of the Ramsey County hearing and for her research efforts. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. CREPEAU, JR. - General Government, Public <br />Safety <br /> <br />Temporary Heatln~ Inspector Appointment <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Olmen, that the Council approve the <br />appointment of Mr. Rich Harrington as temporary heating inspector <br />until such time that Mr. Pakoy returns as full-time inspector, or <br />until the end of 1973. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />Revised Fee Schedule Requests - Rubbish Haulers <br />Letters from All State Disposal Service and Suburban Pick-up Service, <br />requesting approval of revised rates, were reviewed by the Council. <br /> <br />HerriCk moved, seconded by Crichton, that the Council approve the <br />increased rates, as requested.
