ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — JANUARY 13, 2025 2 <br />stated the Mayor and herself cost each member of the City $400 due to the lawsuit with Ramsey <br />County. She reported this was not true. She explained the City spent $200,000 on the lawsuit and <br />insurance covered everything beyond that. <br />Councilmember Monson reported Tara Jebens-Singh was now the JDA's County Commissioner <br />representative. <br />Councilmember Monson discussed the challenges facing TCAAP and noted these have been <br />discussed by the JDA. While she understood the recent newsletter article may not have addressed <br />these concerns, they have been addressed by the JDA. <br />3. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br />Richard Wenzel, 1931 Noble Road, questioned how much taxpayer money Arden Hills has spent <br />on TCAAP. He indicated the City has been working on this project since he moved to the <br />community in 1972 and nothing has been accomplished. He stated he would like an accounting on <br />how much money the City has spent on this project. <br />Mayor Grant reported staff could be directed to provide a response to Mr. Wenzel. <br />4. Oath of Office — Brenda Holden and Kurt Weber <br />Assistant to the City Administrator/City Clerk Hanson administered the Oath of Office to <br />Councilmember Kurt Weber.
