ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — JANUARY 13, 2025 2 stated the Mayor and herself cost each member of the City $400 due to the lawsuit with Ramsey County. She reported this was not true. She explained the City spent $200,000 on the lawsuit and insurance covered everything beyond that. Councilmember Monson reported Tara Jebens-Singh was now the JDA's County Commissioner representative. Councilmember Monson discussed the challenges facing TCAAP and noted these have been discussed by the JDA. While she understood the recent newsletter article may not have addressed these concerns, they have been addressed by the JDA. 3. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL Richard Wenzel, 1931 Noble Road, questioned how much taxpayer money Arden Hills has spent on TCAAP. He indicated the City has been working on this project since he moved to the community in 1972 and nothing has been accomplished. He stated he would like an accounting on how much money the City has spent on this project. Mayor Grant reported staff could be directed to provide a response to Mr. Wenzel. 4. RESPONSE TO PUBLIC INQUIRIES None. 5. PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS A. Oath of Office — Brenda Holden and Kurt Weber Assistant to the City Administrator/City Clerk Hanson administered the Oath of Office to Councilmember Kurt Weber.
