The policy is intended to put in place a set of guidelines that Staff and other <br />contributors will follow as it relates to the City newsletter to ensure Staff has clearly defined <br />procedures when creating each edition of the newsletter. For 2025, the Council consensus was not to <br />have a Council appointed Communication Liaison for the newsletter. At the January 13th work <br />session, Staff brought back policy updates for how the process for submittal of topics would work. <br />Language from the 2023 policy was updated to strike the reference to the Communication Liaison and <br />inserted the point of contact for topic submissions as the City Administrator. Procedurally all other <br />elements of the policy remain unchanged.
