Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Park System Planning Proposal Discussion <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $75,000 $74,900 - $84,800 PIR – Parks <br /> (TBD through discussion) <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />• Council should discuss the proposal for the Park System Master Plan. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />From direction of the City Council at the February 10, 2025, Council Work Session, Bolton & <br />Menk has prepared a proposal from completing a Park System Master Plan for the city. <br /> <br />Bryce Shearen, CPRE, and Casey Byers, PLA, from Bolton & Menk will be at the Work Session <br />to review the proposal and stand for any questions the Council may have. <br /> <br />Budget Impact <br /> <br />The City currently has $75,000 budgeted for this project in 2025. The proposal from Bolton & <br />Menk ranges from the base package fee at $74,900 up to $84,800 if alternative services are <br />desired by the City Council.
