Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Adopt-A-Park Application – Shoreview/Arden Hills Rotary Club for Floral Park <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$4,500 $500 Parks – 101-45200-44030 <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Approving the Resolution 2025-029 Accepting the Adopt-A-Park Application from <br />Arden Hills/Shoreview Rotary Club for Floral Park through 2025 and 2026. <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />The Arden Hills/Shoreview Rotary Club has applied to adopt Floral Park for 2025 and 2026 <br />(Attachment A). If Council so chooses, Attachment B is Resolution 2025-029, which will <br />approve that Floral Park will be adopted by the Arden Hills/Shoreview Rotary Club for that <br />timeframe and work will be coordinated as stated within the resolution. <br /> <br />A list of Volunteer Projects has been prepared by a resident volunteer that has worked in Floral <br />Park for a number of years. He has a prepared a list of priority items that the Arden <br />Hills/Shoreview Rotary Club can help achieve over these two years. The goals have been <br />outlined within the list in Attachment C and on the Floral Park Map shown in Attachment D. <br /> <br />An Adopt-A-Park sign would be placed at the entrances of Floral Park, similar to what is shown <br />in Attachment E examples, if Council so chooses to approve the resolution. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Rotary Club Application <br />Attachment B: Resolution 2025-029 <br />Attachment C: List of Volunteer Projects <br />Attachment D: Floral Park Maps <br />Attachment E: Adopt-A-Park Sign Examples
