Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />Budget Impact <br /> <br />The 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan identifies the 2026 PMP Street & Utility <br />Improvements Project with a budget of $2,585,000 with project funding sources consisting of the <br />PIR fund, special assessments, sanitary sewer utility, water utility, surface water utility and the <br />Rice Creek Watershed District Grant for surface water improvements. <br /> <br />City staff will be pursuing funding through the Rice Creek Watershed District Stormwater <br />Management Grant Program and will coordinate with Ramsey County if there is an opportunity <br />for cost-share-related pond improvements. <br /> <br />The total project cost estimate and proposed project funding sources will be further refined <br />during preparation of the feasibility report. <br /> <br />Funding Sources Budgeted Amount <br />PIR $860,000 <br />Special Assessments $860,000 <br />Sanitary Sewer $145,000 <br />Surface Water $500,000 <br />Water $120,000 <br />RCWD Grant (surface water)$100,000 <br />Total:$2,585,000 <br />The proposal provided by Bolton & Menk includes fees not-to-exceed $439,813 for professional <br />services for the entire project through feasibility report, design and specifications and <br />construction administration. If approved, Bolton & Menk will proceed with the feasibility study <br />phase. Once complete, Council will review the Final Feasibility Report at a Work Session, then <br />at a regular Council Meeting will choose to Accept the Feasibility Report and Call for an <br />Improvement Hearing (Public Hearing).
